Why is it called Python?

Guido van Rossum was a big fan of Monty Python’s Flying Circus.

Monty Python was a British comedy group and the name “Python” was chosen as a tribute to Monty Python’s Flying Circus.

It reflects the philosophy of Python to keep it fun and interesting for programmers.

Why learn Python?

What can we build using Python?

Python can be used to solve a lot of real world problems.

There are no limits to what Python can do.
